Training Overview
This interactional learning workshop introduces participants to the core principles and practices of Motivational Interviewing (MI), an evidence-based approach to fostering client change. Participants will learn to navigate the challenges of client motivation, avoid the common “advice-giving trap,” and develop practical skills for inspiring positive behavioral change. Based on the work of Miller and Rollnick, this workshop provides an essential grounding in MI techniques and sets the stage for deeper exploration in Phase 2.
