Training Overview
This introductory workshop offers a foundational understanding of Structural Dissociation Theory through a parts-based therapeutic lens. Participants will explore how trauma disrupts the “self” structure of the personality, leading to the formation of dissociative parts with distinct roles and protective functions. Emphasis is placed on recognizing these internal states, fostering inner communication, and supporting integration and regulation through practical, trauma-informed interventions. As Part 1, this workshop sets the stage for deeper clinical applications covered in the advanced training of Part 2.
